Now the rest of his acts and all his ways, from first to last, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Judah and Israel.
After these acts of faithfulness Sennacherib king of Assyria came and invaded Judah and besieged the fortified cities, and thought to break into them for himself.
Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah and his deeds of devotion, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, in the Book of the Kings of Judah and Israel.
Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh even his prayer to his God, and the words of the seers who spoke to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they are among the records of the kings of Israel.
Now the rest of the acts of Josiah and his deeds of devotion as written in the law of the LORD,
and his acts, first to last, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah.
Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim and the abominations which he did, and what was found against him, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah. And Jehoiachin his son became king in his place.
Arise! For this matter is your responsibility, but we will be with you; be courageous and act.”
We have acted very corruptly against You and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the ordinances which You commanded Your servant Moses.

Every prudent man acts with knowledge, But a fool displays folly.
A quick-tempered man acts foolishly, And a man of evil devices is hated.
The king’s favor is toward a servant who acts wisely, But his anger is toward him who acts shamefully.
It is an abomination for kings to commit wicked acts, For a throne is established on righteousness.
A servant who acts wisely will rule over a son who acts shamefully, And will share in the inheritance among brothers.
