Behold, for thus shall the man be blessed Who fears the LORD.
The LORD bless you from Zion, And may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
“The plowers plowed upon my back; They lengthened their furrows.”
The LORD is righteous; He has cut in two the cords of the wicked.
Let them be like grass upon the housetops, Which withers before it grows up;
With which the reaper does not fill his hand, Or the binder of sheaves his bosom;
Nor do those who pass by say, “The blessing of the LORD be upon you; We bless you in the name of the LORD.”
A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I have cried to You, O LORD.
Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.
I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, And in His word do I hope.
My soul waits for the Lord More than the watchmen for the morning; Indeed, more than the watchmen for the morning.
O Israel, hope in the LORD; For with the LORD there is lovingkindness, And with Him is abundant redemption.

How he swore to the LORD And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob,

Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah, We found it in the field of Jaar.
Arise, O LORD, to Your resting place, You and the ark of Your strength.
For the sake of David Your servant, Do not turn away the face of Your anointed.
The LORD has sworn to David A truth from which He will not turn back: “Of the fruit of your body I will set upon your throne.
For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation.
“There I will cause the horn of David to spring forth; I have prepared a lamp for Mine anointed.
It is like the precious oil upon the head, Coming down upon the beard, Even Aaron’s beard, Coming down upon the edge of his robes.
It is like the dew of Hermon Coming down upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing--life forever.
A Song of Ascents. Behold, bless the LORD, all servants of the LORD, Who serve by night in the house of the LORD!
Lift up your hands to the sanctuary And bless the LORD.
May the LORD bless you from Zion, He who made heaven and earth.
Praise the LORD! Praise the name of the LORD; Praise Him, O servants of the LORD,
You who stand in the house of the LORD, In the courts of the house of our God!
Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; Sing praises to His name, for it is lovely.
For the LORD has chosen Jacob for Himself, Israel for His own possession.
For I know that the LORD is great And that our Lord is above all gods.
Whatever the LORD pleases, He does, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps.
He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who makes lightnings for the rain, Who brings forth the wind from His treasuries.
He smote the firstborn of Egypt, Both of man and beast.
Sihon, king of the Amorites, And Og, king of Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan;
For the LORD will judge His people And will have compassion on His servants.
The idols of the nations are but silver and gold, The work of man’s hands.
O house of Israel, bless the LORD; O house of Aaron, bless the LORD;
O house of Levi, bless the LORD; You who revere the LORD, bless the LORD.
Blessed be the LORD from Zion, Who dwells in Jerusalem. Praise the LORD!
